Fifty photographs of the nineteenth century from the Alinari Archives can make valuable and unique each volume of the series Poster Books, dedicated to Italian cities and places that were already two centuries ago the favorite destination of art tourism in our country. Milan, Turin, Venice, Florence, just to mention a few titles, are documented in the pictures of the Alinari, Brogi, of Anderson, us to relive the urban atmospheres, landscapes, the monumental architecture of the city 'uncontaminated', spaces wide and photographically inanimate. The photographs illustrating the series are printed directly from the original negatives on glass plate in size 21×27, in order to keep playing in the high quality and sharpness of the ancient pictures.
